Welcome to the research program


Outdoor Recreation in Change

Outdoor Recreation in Change is an interdisciplinary, national research program for the study of outdoor recreation and nature-based tourism in Sweden. The overall aim of the program is to present a broad picture of the dynamics of outdoor recreation and nature-based tourism in Sweden.  

The program is a network project, involving about 15 researchers from seven universities and colleges in the country. The research is supported by the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency.

This web site presents information about the program activities, links to other research projects and hints to new knowledge in respect of outdoor recreation.
